Spaffleck: The Next Generation

All this baby news over the last couple of weeks has got me thinking....flashback several years to 1999-2000. Britney Spears and Ben Affleck had such a mutual admiration for each other...How very interesting that they're both gonna have babies around the same time...SOOO - it might be too late for Brit and Ben, but it's never too soon to think about a union of their spawn. Here's to hoping that Bennifer II have a little gal to pair up with Brit's little boy. Cheers.

Britney on Ben in a 2000 magazine article: "She has a wicked crush on Ben Affleck. The two had an arranged dinner, and the actor surprised her in her trailer before the Billboard Music Awards. "He is so real," she says, eyes widening. "And so warm.'
On the table is a movie magazine with -- you guessed it -- a grinning Affleck posing seductively on the glossy cover. Spears sighs and flips through, looking for more pictures."

Ben on Britney: "Sometimes it's Britney Spears and sometimes it's Carrie Fisher. I can't tell if I've got a Lolita Complex or an Oedipus Complex."

How prescient about K. Fed young, 18-year-old Britney also was in this 2000 interview:
'She'd like to hook up with someone in show business. "I think it would help a lot. Of course, if I met somebody at McDonald's and I fell in love with him, I'd have to go with my heart."
